Detect Bad Plugins

Detect Bad Plugins

What It Does

This module scans your installed plugins to identify ones that are known to have security vulnerabilities, are outdated, or have been closed/removed from the WordPress repository. It helps you identify plugins that pose security risks.

Why It Matters

Security vulnerabilities can expose your website, user data, and business to serious risks.

By implementing this security measure, you protect your website from potential threats and attacks.

How to Use

Activate this module in the Plugins & Themes section of SecuPress settings.

Once activated, the module works automatically and provides protection for your website.

If you encounter any issues after activation, you can temporarily deactivate the module. The module will automatically remove its protection rules when deactivated.

More

It's also possible to get colored notifications related to plugin updates, so you can priorize them. DO achieve that, activate this module, then check the checkbox "Highlight plugin updates based on how long the update has been available."
