Maximum URL length scans
This scan checks if your site can be accessed with long URLs.
SecuPress will activate the « Block Long URLs » module in the « Firewall » section. This will block requests if the URL is longer than 300 characters.
Keep in mind that every long URL will be blocked. This includes the URL generated if you're logged in to your admin and try to update ten plugins at once on your plugin updates page, for example.
The update form uses the GET method to send this information, so inevitably the URL will be long because the string will contain the path to every plugin you're trying to update.
The update will thus fail with a message from SecuPress, which is the normal behavior for this type of protection.
